Nordic Balance Wimbledon Village Physiotherapy clinic plays an integral role in preventing and managing all sports and day-to-day injuries. We aim to find risk factors to prevent further injuries, treat and fully rehabilitate post-injury, returning you to optimum health in the shortest possible time.

Physiotherapy is used to treat injuries such as sprains, back pain, arthritis, muscular strains, incontinence, bursitis, posture problems, sport, and workplace injuries, as well as issues related to reduced mobility. Often patients recovering from surgery will also be referred to our Physiotherapists for rehabilitation. The course of treatment and treatment times will vary according to your injury. To better understand your needs, we recommend that clients first book in for an initial assessment with our physio team. All physio appointments are available to book online.

Rehabilitate Post-Injury with Physiotherapy Treatment

As part of an initial Physiotherapy consultation, an entire case history will be taken, including a detailed analysis of your pain and its progression, your medical history, any accidents, operations, and medications. Follow up physio treatments will usually last around 45 minutes to an hour.

Physiotherapy will help to make your muscles relax and your joint movement more comfortable - alleviating you of injuries and pain obtained through sports.

Neck & Shoulder Pain

Physiotherapy techniques will assist in releasing tight muscles that affect and change your posture, helping you to walk and stand taller and straighter.

Exercise prescription will help to improve your mobility & function to better support the muscles & joints while providing resistance, helping you gradually get stronger.

Back Pain & Injuries

Improve the movement and function of your joints and muscles. Ongoing treatment combined with prescribed exercise will help to reduce back pain and further injury.

Originally from South Africa, Farhana is a Musculoskeletal and Women’s Health Physiotherapist.
