At our Wimbledon physiotherapy clinic, Lucy Asson delivers expert treatment with a strong focus on movement, performance and recovery. Her approach is proactive and highly personalised, blending clinical knowledge with a calm, clear style that puts clients at ease from the very first session.
Lucy holds a degree in Sport and Exercise Science from Durham University and a master’s in Physiotherapy from Bangor University. Her professional experience spans NHS services, military rehabilitation settings and semi-professional rugby, giving her a strong foundation in treating complex MSK conditions under pressure and with precision.
Her treatment style combines targeted exercise rehabilitation with effective hands-on therapy, typically a 60/40 split. Whether you’re returning to sport, recovering post-surgery, or managing a long-standing issue, Lucy builds structured, realistic plans that help you move well and stay strong. She regularly uses a mix of manual therapy, soft tissue work, dry needling (as part of physiotherapy), sports massage, joint mobilisation, and progressive strength training to support recovery.
Lucy has a particular interest in lower and upper limb injuries, sports-related conditions, and return-to-sport rehab, with clients ranging from active teens to adults aiming to stay fit, injury-free and confident in their movement.
She also treats TMJ-related dysfunction, helping those with jaw pain or tension using a combination of manual therapy and supportive techniques.
Clients working with physiotherapist Lucy Asson value her blend of expertise, structure and genuine care, and often leave not just feeling better, but with a clear sense of what’s next. Book online or call us on 0203 903 6848.
